Flippy Flanges - For the Birds - PDF download

This pattern is great for highlighting a directional focus fabric like the birds.  This quilt is very easy to construct with all straight seams. Yes, you could modify the patten and not piece the gold squares and Diamonds, but then you would have many set-in seams.

 The green in my quilt has a stripe!  The cutting instructions are written with a stripe in mind in case you also desire to use a stripe. You will need to pay close attention to the direction of the stripe when piecing.  I did have to unsew a few pieces to correct the direction of the stripe. 😊  The effect with the stripe is so worth it though!
