Let's explore more about using and creating Flippy Flanges. We will compare and contract quilts with the highlights and without; we will explore the different ways to make the Flanges; and we will create this great one block quilt. See the many layouts possible with just the one design.
Adding Flippy Flanges to a pattern -
Bring a quilt you designed or a quilt pattern you have purchased. We will brainstorm the best way to add color highlights, shadows or new elements to the quilt. This is a design class. A completed quilt design is the goal, not a finished quilt top. Class size will be limited to 10 students to provide enough time to provide feedback on everyone's design.
Yes, we will cover drafting/redrafting the pattern pieces with my minimal math method of creating pattern pieces.
